| COSHH (The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) Assessor
Duration and Venue
This is a half day course aimed at staff who may be asked to assess substances in use in their environment that may have the potential to cause harm through ingestion, inhalation, injection or absorption.
Content
The course is designed to equip delegates with the skills and knowledge required to carry out workplace assessments of substances in use in their environment. Using a range of sources including Hazard Data Sheets and research safe working practices are identified, designed and planned. The modules include:
COSHH Legislation and associated Regulations,
Company policies,
Routes of entry,
Hazard data sheets and how to understand them,
Prevention methodology.
Assessment and Certification
Assessments can be designed subject to prior discussion with the client. |
