A half day course designed specifically to client’s requirements.
Content
Incorrect Manual Handling techniques account for significant numbers of accidents in the workplace. Where Manual Handling cannot be avoided, training must be provided. This course aims to teach correct manual handling techniques and encourage a reduction in accidents. The modules include:
The Manual Handling Regulations and related Legislation,
Company policies,
Anatomy of the spine,
Top heavy bending and “base” movement,
Control strategies and PPE.
Assessment and Certification
If required, assessments can be included subject to prior approval of the client. |
