Duration and Venue
A one- day course designed specifically to meet the requirements of Water Companies. On completion of the course delegates will be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to operate valves and hydrants to water company standards.

The course will be adapted to the needs and stipulations of the water companies but general subjects include the modules below: The modules include:
Types of valves in use on the network,
Purposes and functions of valves,
Methods of operation,
Hazards associated with operation,
Equipment used to operate valves,
Problem solving on the network.
Assessment and Certification
If required, assessments can be designed and included subject to prior approval of the client. It is advised that they are in line with water company policies. |
